I have been working in the world of movement for over 25 years.
In 2003 I received my Pilates Certification from the Kane School of Core Integration and have studied in various dance techniques as well as having years of hands on teaching and research behind me.
My goal is to educate people on how to understand their bodies from the inside-out.

ALLEGRO PILATES
My intimate classes are all about attention to detail. Correct alignment, use of breath, cueing and focus are used to help muscle engagement and activation.
Pilates mat classes are a group class that is a great option for those who want a challenging workout that will tone their muscles while being gentle on the joints and people recovering from an injury that want a low-impact exercise their body can handle.
Private lessons are perfect for working to refine skills and better your weak points. You may work more slowly in order to strengthen specific muscle groups, change poor movement patterns, release unneeded tension or to look more closely at alignment.
Private sessions are catered to your body and your needs. It is the place to be if you are working with an injury, pregnant, looking to better understand the exercises or wanting to push yourself into challenging exercises that are not appropriate in a class setting.
As a dancer myself, I also work on Pilates for Dancers and Athletes. Many dance schools are now understanding the value of Pilates and including it into the curriculum. The mindfulness with Pilates educates athletes to have more awareness of where there body is in space, making for cleaner lines and clearer movement.
