It is the place to be if you are working with an injury, pregnant, looking to better understand the exercises or wanting to push yourself into challenging exercises that are not appropriate in a class setting.

Pilates

FOR DANCERS & ATHLETES

Pilates as a exercise system looks at the entire body as a whole, distinguishing poor moment patterns to avoid over-use and injury. The exercises are designed to enforce efficient, balanced movement and move the body away from bad habits.
Many dance schools are now understanding the value of Pilates and including it into the curriculum.
The mindfulness with Pilates educates athletes to have more awareness of where their body is in space, making for cleaner lines and clearer movement. The body becomes more responsive to understanding how to use impulse and initiation opening up many possibilities and ways to move, such as fluidity, relationship to gravity, articulation, spiral and use of weight transfer.

PRE-NATAL

& POST-NATAL PILATES

Helping you to increase strength and stability while allowing you to connect deeper into your changing body. Available for one-to-one sessions or small group of up to 3 women sessions.

PREVENTION & RECOVERY

Slow personal sessions that are built to look at the entire body as a whole. Increasing the bodies recovery by strengthening the weak points and improving poor movement patterns.
